History: Was shopped out by a local guy - very clean inside and out - great shape. The day I received my Asteroids upright (and Space Invaders upright) - both were working great, until I turned my back and the Asteroids popped the breaker in the garage. Changed the blown fuses in the game, but power-up blew the 7A right away. Crap! - well, the SI was very fun to play :) :: Tracked down the Asteroids trouble - turned out to be a rogue ground wire touching a switch contact - grrr - metal crimps - crazy! :: Cleaned it up (image above cleaned, but not physically retouched - haven't gotten to those images yet) - plays nice! but it's harder than my cocktail version, which must be due to the rev it is. . ., and/or the screen size/orientation difference :: Retouched the cabinet - looks awesome! - seems that the cabinet being slightly not level where I placed it, was hanging up some quarters from going down the chute :: Replaced the power plug, and cleaned the leaf buttons (pulled them apart and set them for a dishwasher cycle = pretty good!) - didn't know they came apart before (a lot less work LMTY!), then got my new highscore on it - the space ships are way more accurate on this version! [rev 2 vs rev 5 board on my CT] :: Finally found the monitor brightness knob - different knob and location than the cocktail - looks much better now! :: Acquired the original manual and schematics for it ::
