Items still left to do in the restoration process:
—New table top glass (which I have, but the one it had was spray painted black - and I wanted to keep the fresh piece for Ms. Pac-man and Galaga, so I cleaned it up, and put it back together) at some point, I'll get another piece for it - other priorities at the moment!
—Top art - will look for a cocktail version for this game
—Control Panel Overlays

Found a nice upright sized marquee to hang next to the game, but how?! ::

History: When I went to check out this game it worked for maybe one minute, and then the screen glitched out. Long story short, I got it for a lot better price (being potentially totally dead) - looked at the wiring (a total mess!), and messed with it numerous times, scratched my head and pondered it's future existance for many an hour. Stoked to finally have it all workin' and rockin' in my pad.

Double checked the wiring, and now the fan works - Sept 9, 2008 :: Cleaned the front (side coin door) panel - much better - why do people put used gum under table tops? Replaced the dead fan at the base of the unit - couldn't get the fan active with the cabinet wiring, will have to re-check all of that in a little bit :: Noticed when I tipped the game over that there were two legs broken off, and two that were intact, but missing the adjustable threaded levers - so I removed the broken crud, and replaced the two broken with fresh pieces, and had some old levers in my stash from a Joust machine - Sept 2, 2008 :: Pulled it from Varsity Pizza August 30, 2008 :: Monitor was recently rebuilt (re-capped) - April, 2007 - looks very nice and is centered properly again, so you can see the number of VAUS left and credits now no problem - returned this game to Varsity Pizza April 11, 2007 :: Added a button hole (cover) since that shot [above] was done - changed the coin price markers from 25 to 50 cents (Nov, '06) :: Moved the spinner on Arkanoid 2 - and repositioned the fire/release button to make it ambidextrous (Apr 9, '06) :: Got my Arkanoid Revenge of Doh working again, thanks to my local tech buddy again (was a flaky power supply in the end). Swapped out a spare I had, and it's back! (Mar 28, '06) :: Got a local guru to fix up my Arkanoid - Revenge Of Doh cocktail - works pretty great - wow - trippy game play, very inventive version - even cooler than Arkanoid - like being stoned with no extra substances! - didn't have an Ambidextrous fire/release button, so I'll have to add one (Feb 23, '06) :: Got a few more new acquisitions - an 1982 'Donkey Kong Jr. cocktail' (stock) that came with a Hunchback PCB and an 'Arkanoid' cocktail style cabinet (needs work, not stock), and two stand-up cabinets that need work - a Tetris, and a Street Fighter II - wow, that should keep me busy!
