In these galleries you can find a set of four [gallery-series]. All shot with available light by Keven Fedirko - my clearance to this gig made possible with arrangements from Andrew Cassidy from The Guitar Connection and Angie Cassidy from Pennylane Entertainment Group. Everything was done with the existing stage lighting, and shot with a chest-pod and/or hand-held, un-staged, in-concert with no posing or flash what-so-ever. All captured live with no bullshit!!!
These shots were lensed on May 24th., 2006 at the night club Cowboys – in downtown Calgary, AB.
I specialize in digital and 35mm B&W - making the most of natural light [on location], and being as un-obtrusive as possible to keep the talent at ease and to retain the true spirit of the performance.
Some images have been converted to B&W in post production. Digital proofs of most images seen here or online are available for purchase in a variety of sizes - please quote the Band and ending frame numbers for the pictures when requesting proofs (details listed to the left of each picture), to aid in file retrieval.
NB: The images have a standard macintosh gamma of 1.8, which may appear dark on a PC system.
Please look around, and send me an email keven.fedirko@gmail.com if you'd like to chat or arrange a viewing of my print, slide or digital work.
Each bands name [below] links to their own website where possible. Broken links, and/or missing links will be amended if/when/where it is known, so please email.
Each page opens in it's own window, so this index page remains visible [to see all the content]. Visit my online site for more photography. Lots more cool stuff in my archives than I have time to post. Always available for upcoming events and freelance work.
p.s., thanks to all the bands for putting on a fabulous show, and the lighting guy for giving me some awesome dramatics to lens off of!
In order of appearance - Neurosonic :: Britt Black :: Bif Naked :: and the good looking and fun-loving crowd there at Coyotes!
The images seen on-line before early 30.05.2006 [6:15am] were in one long gallery of 202 images - please update any links or bookmarks to that sequence you've made – can't stop the progress!
Rock on!
Please if you'd like to use any of these images, the very least is to ask, and I'll give you a tagged file to show my photocredit on them – TIA!
