Gibson Les Paul Standard (Tobacco) :: The Guitar Connection

Shot 26.03.2008 :: got a call that someone across the country was interested in a particular new Gibson Les Paul, so I did another series of 8 guitars, this being the first - a very nice Gibson Les Paul Standard Tobacco Burst, the finish is "faded" (no lacquer), much easier to light - haven't seen this case design either yet - feels and plays nice, this baby won't last long! :: in-progress gallery of 49 images posted 28.03.2008

Michael Bernard Fitzgerald and "The Jr's" @ Broken City

The first band was Michael Bernard Fitzgerald - the main guy has a great voice, and some tastey rhythms - the second band was called "The Jr's" - pretty good too - they dub themselves sorta like a mix between The Police and Queens of the Stoneage - my take - uh, kinda - was fun, got some cool shots. Went down to see The Rocky Fortune - but they didn't show. [doh!] - shot April 12, 2007 :: 'The Jr's" gallery sequence of 59 images :: posted 18.04.2007, more in the vault, MBF shots - still pending - added a handful to my facebook account - 12.03.2008.

Shot this 09.11.2007 :: Thought to be a 1967 or 1968 vintage semi-hollow body Gibson ES345 (actual details still pending) - a stereo version of the more popular 335 I think it is - wonderful apple-like finish and coloring on this baby - took way more pictures of this, than I figured [I would] at first glance the day before - nothing like studio lighting to bring out the best in a piece :: Guitar Connections' gallery posted (120 pictures) 28.02.2008
