Lately I've been writing new tunes (lots to inspire me it seems), shooting a lot of models, live music and product photography. Busy at the moment prepping a few more games (revamping my Arkanoid Revenge of Doh cocktail, detailing an Asteroids Deluxe, and a Targ cocktail right now) and a couple new titles on the horizon, added a page of Marquee's - some thumbnails too. Galleries are listed below in a blog-esque format. Thumbnails in time will all go to the gallery in question - for sessions that are not yet posted, only a thumbnail will exist - email if you're interested in seeing any shoots not yet online, or arrange a meeting to view material on a large display. Note that lots of images can be seen down at the Guitar Connection spinning on an iMac during regular shop hours (often images that might/will not ever appear online) - typically new images added occasionally when jaunting across town - setup another iMac at The Distillery (June 30, 2010), and another Mac will be placed in Cats Eye Vintage soon. Please pause the slide-show when not actively viewing it to save my server bandwidth - Thanks in advance!


Shannon :: Stampede Shoot

Y & T :: Bourbon Street (Concord, CA USA)

Shot August 11th., 2006 :: My favorite heavy rock band EVER playing at Bourbon Street :: in Concord, CA (USA) - just outside of San Francisco, took a great train ride up the westcoast from LA to see the show with my brother, and stayed in a fabulous condo over looking Belvedere Cove and the bridge and San Francisco Bay in the distance (in Tiburon, CA) :: Phil Kennemore on bass thumbnailed on the left (still one of my favorite bass player cards) :: and Dave Meniketti nailing a wicked solo on the right (still one of my favorite cards to share) - was such a treat to finally see them in person - 22 years was a bit too long to wait tho :: re-edited gallery of 51 images posted July 18th., 2010








Van Gunn :: Troubadour

Shot July 10th., 2006 :: Van Gunn played this famous club in Hollywood, CA - apparently there were reps from a number of the major labels in the house. The lead singer saw me working on the set the next night at Extasy Studios, and wanted some to post on his MySpace page. Sugar Shack :: Ashley

Shot May 2nd., 2010 :: had heard a bit of buzz on this place, but had never been - so we took a trip after dim sum with friends, and took a look around at the artwork displayed everywhere - I was more than sleep deprived this day, so just tried to soak up the art with my eyes, and I spent a few moments talking with one of my favorite people - Ashley, while she was getting a color ink portrait done, but I had to photograph her hair, as I knew it would probably render out nicely in black and white, but color correcting skin tones with the dark red room was pretty tricky ... anyhow, hope you like them :: one of my favorite hair B&W treatments on the left :: posing for Doug Wong on the right :: facebook gallery posted June 5th., 2010

Gordie Johnson :: Fan Portraits :: The Distillery

Shot May 15th., 2010 - after SNFU left the stage, I was seeing who else I knew in the venue, and thought of all things that I'd spotted Gordie Johnson (of Big Sugar/Grady), but was not positive - have not seen him in person since very early on in his career at a cool little club in Montreal back in the early 90s, so I asked him, and then had a little chat - very nice and personable dude. SNFU :: The Distillery

Shot May 14/15th., 2010 (the evening of the 14th, didn't starting shooting until 1:14am, so technically the 15th) - SNFU was back in town for a rousing set and this time with original drummer behind the kit :: Mr. ChiPig (in a fresh Savannah T on the left), and Jon Card really enjoying himself (previously of Personality Crisis, and later of D.O.A and the Subhumans on the right) :: thumbnails posted May 15th., 2010




Ross :: Asteriods Deluxe (upright)

Shot May 14th., 2010 - Ross having a few games of Asteriods Deluxe (upright) :: Ross and the playfield in the background (on the left), and hands and playfield (on the right) - surprised that the exposures came out pretty nice with both elements in the same frame :: this restoration is pretty awesome, the screen, is easily the best looking vector display I think I've seen, he had to replace the original board with a board that has harder ROMs though, so it starts off at a difficulty probably about 3 to 4 screens in, compared to my cocktail version(s) I'd say :: The painted backdrop and back lit black light really make the upright version pretty spectacular :: facebook gallery posted May 14th., 2010
