This series of pictures were shot over the Christmas break (December,
2001) at the Peter Fox Studio. Two directional lights and one bounce light
off the ceiling. Seamless white backdrop.
The "leather collection" had never been shown in [any] catalog form before, and we wanted to have pictures on-line as many designs are available in bridal [satin] and leather - but we never had leather images to show. I had most of the collection brought up from New York for the shoot, and then designed a new "look" for the layout once all the principle photography was done.
The new look is a lot cleaner, and enabled me to produce each group of pages in a more modular way, thereby streamlining the production process (the previous design needed each shoe clipped [close-cropped], and a subtle background image was saved with each graphic, making future redesign and/or updates much more difficult).
This series of material was only seen in my CD-R portfolio, but I've recently added it online to illustrate a bit of previous fashion work :: 16.10.2006
