I've been shooting so much cool stuff, but ... there are never enough hours in the day to post it all. On this page, you can now garner a glimpse of what's to come [or rather what you're missing out on]. Galleries are listed below in a blog-esque format. Thumbnails in time will all go to the gallery in question - for sessions that are not yet posted, only a thumbnail will exist - email if you're interested in seeing any shoots not yet online, or arrange a meeting to view material on a beautiful large display the way the gods intended.

Maya Arulpragasam (from Sri Lanka, London and South East United Kingdom) headlined for "Lets Go To War" and "Top Billin" (missed both openers, was busy with the Sora shoot) :: shot May 28th., 2008 for BeatRoute :: Maya thumbnailed on the right - never seen anyone ask for a pile of the audience members to get up on stage and dance before - people were really into this...

Sora gave us some stories and background on her upcoming album, as we wandered thru a wonderful forest and tried on a few different outfits :: shot May 28th., 2008 :: nice low-cut black number that we finished off the session with.











The Hives :: MacEwan Hall, U of C

Locksley :: MacEwan Hall, U of C

Locksley (from Brooklyn, New York) opened for The Hives :: shot May 22nd., 2008 for BeatRoute :: Kai thumbnailed on the left (lead guitar) and Jesse (rhythm guitar) thumbnailed on the right - great lighting, and a much better set than I anticipated - nice job gents!

Liberation Moog :: restored

A nice vintage Liberation Moog unearthed from dry-storage (since around 1987) :: shot 01.04.2008 :: cleaned up :: series of 56 images posted 06.04.2008 - listed this on eBay as well - with a Buy It Now price of only 1,500 - they usually fetch around 2,000, so grab it quick! listing will be active at 5pm EST I think...

Melanie C / Melanie Chisholm (aka Sporty Spice of Spice Girls fame) the most talented solo act of the group IMO - nice atmosphere and lighting for Mel - looking and sounding good :: shot May 15th., 2008 for BeatRoute :: posted a series of 40 images 19.05.2008




Karma :: Hawley, Leacock, Pineo, and Stack

4 piece band (Jane Hawley - thumbnailed on the right, Tim Leacock, Steve Pineo, and Mike Stack - thumbnailed on the left) played a few sets in Calgary at Karma's - awesome gig :: originally posted a sequence of 115 images :: 27.10.2006 :: Karma closed it's doors down at the end of October ('06) :: didn't even name these files, so people could see a sample of what I was slide-showin' on my laptop that night above the bar, before I returned Oct 28 :: gallery re-vamped 19.05.2008 :: posted a sequence of 28 images





The Soda :: Art (study)
